Mission Statement

The mission of the Manresa Association is to advocate for developing Manresa Island in a manner that respects neighboring communities in terms of environmental integrity, safety, traffic, noise, and aesthetics while preserving open space for wildlife habitat; and to be a liaison for information between Manresa Island Corporation and neighboring residents.

Manresa Association represents a collective viewpoint of residents, but does not necessarily reflect the views of all residents. Our mission and approach are guided by decisions of the Board of Directors who represent the five communities. We respectfully acknowledge that there are different perspectives about the development of Manresa Island, and we will do our best to fairly represent our neighbors.
